Shadow
For six years in the late 1970s and early 80s, Daniel sang on the mountain at Big Sky, Montana. In the summers, he toured small towns in Montana and Canada, and played employee lounges around Yellowstone Park. While at Big Sky he made cassette recordings of several live performances at the Caboose on the mountain and also a recording of a gig at Hapner Hall on the MSU campus. The songs on this album are rough and imperfect, but they represent an era in the life of a songwriter and there is no hiding behind EQs, autotune and special effects.   1) Woman of My Dreams 2) Fool’s World 3) Beneath the Evergreen 4) Fire Song 5) Judy’s Song 6) For Cyndi 7) Stargazer 8) In Your Arms Again 9) Red Man 10) Snowflakes in the Sun 11) When You Find You’re All Alone 12) Powder Dream 13) There Ain’t No Use   Some great musicians can be heard throughout these 13 songs.  They include Jim Lewis-electric guitar, Moe Esco-flute, Kenny Williams-electric standup bass, Peggy Warner-electric violin, Benny B-electric banjo, and Susie Crosby-vocal harmonies.
