The Sky is Falling is an outgrowth of long-time Bozeman band the Buzztones.  Jump Cut is Ty Delaney (vocals), Daniel Smith (guitar), Buzz Tarlow (bass), Bruce Mickleson (keyboards), and Mike Gillan (drums).  Dan Krza played the bass part he wrote with Smith on the number two cut, Tempted. Alex Delaney added the wistfully haunting vocals to the chorus of The Sky is Falling

Over the years, a number of musicians have rotated through the band and added to the Jump Cut sound.  Notable past members and collaborators in the Buzztones are Joe McCarthy (guitar), Mike Williams (drums), Sean Carr (drums), Terry Schooley (drums), Rich Ockford (guitar) and Jason Armstrong (drums).  All have had their own special influence.
